Tiny Notes is a simple browser extension designed for personal note-taking. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the extension handles your data.

Data Collection

Tiny Notes does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal information or user data.

Data Storage

All notes you create are stored locally on your device using the browser’s local storage API
Your notes never leave your computer
No data is sent to external servers or third parties
No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data is collected

Permissions

The extension requests the following permission:

Storage Permission

Purpose: To save your notes locally in your browser
Scope: Limited to storing note content, timestamps, color preferences, and font settings on your device only
Usage: This data remains entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere

Third-Party Services

Tiny Notes uses Google Fonts CDN to load custom fonts for display purposes only. No personal data is shared with Google through this integration.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

You have complete control over your notes
Your data is only accessible through your browser
Uninstalling the extension will remove all stored notes from your browser

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

Deleting individual notes within the extension
Using the “Clear All” function in settings
Uninstalling the extension from your browser

Children’s Privacy

This extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected in this document with a new “Last Updated” date.
